SERVICES
Mental Training Built Around Your Season
One-on-one work, college and pro support, and team programs. Every option starts with a free 15-minute call.
Ways to Work together
Most of what I do is one on one with an athlete, in person around the Bay Area or online. I also work with teams, coaching staffs and whole programs. Everything starts the same way, with a free 15-minute call, so neither of us is guessing about whether this is a fit.
This is training, not a fix. It takes reps, the same as anything else you have gotten good at.

Teams, Schools, Organizations
Workshops, preseason team work, coaching staff consultation and parent nights. Scope and price depend on the program, the season and the number of athletes.
*Single sessions are $125 each, no package needed. Email and text between sessions, answered during business hours. Sessions do not expire. Cancellations need 24 hours notice, otherwise there is a $50 fee. Games and practices get moved and I know that, so talk to me and we will work it out.
What We Work on
Everything I do with an athlete is built on these skills and the research behind them. These are not ideas I made up. They are what the field has spent decades testing.
After the intro session we pick two or three to focus on, and we work them until they hold up under pressure. All of them are trainable. None of them are fast. It takes reps, the same as anything else you have gotten good at.
-
Confidence built on your last performance is not confidence, it is a mood. We build the kind that shows up on the nights the shots are not falling.
What it looks like without it
Basketball:Stops looking for the ball after two misses.
Soccer: Quits making runs after an early miss in front of goal.
-
Everybody tells an athlete to focus. Almost nobody teaches them what to focus on, or how to come back once they have lost it.
What it looks like without it
Basketball: Eyes on the scoreboard and the bench in the middle of the other team's run.
Swimming: Thinking about the last split instead of the next wall.
Baseball: A pitcher still throwing the last pitch while he throws this one.
-
A lot of athletes are carrying a goal somebody else gave them. We find the one that gets you up for a 6am lift when nobody is watching.
What it looks like without it
Track: Training hard with no number they are actually chasing.
Lacrosse: A bench player with no target for the season, so practice becomes attendance.
Basketball: "Get a scholarship" as the only goal, with no plan underneath it.
-
Nerves and frustration are not the problem. Letting them choose your next decision is.
What it looks like without it
Soccer: A defender arguing a call for the next five minutes of live play.
Tennis: The racket toss that costs the next two games.
Swimming: Adrenaline on the blocks turning into a first 50 they cannot hold.
-
Most athletes already have some version of a routine, and most of it is superstition. We build one you can repeat under pressure and help you go into your games real to compete.
Basketball: a different free throw routine in the first minute than in the last
Golf: nothing repeatable between pulling the club and starting the swing
Track: the ninety seconds on the blocks spent watching the next lane
-
Players play at the level they believe they are, and most of them decided a long time ago that they either have it or they do not. We get underneath that to the core beliefs, and work on what you believe about yourself and about what you can still build.
What it looks like without it
Basketball: A freshman on varsity who plays small and passes up open shots.
Track: "I'm bad at the last 400," and training as if that settles it.
Soccer: A keeper who has decided they are just streaky.
Process
Discovery Call
A free 15 minute call. Tell me what's going on and what you want to change. I'll tell you honestly whether I can help and what it would look like.
Getting to Know the Athlete
Our first session is about the athlete. Their sport, their position, their season, and the moments where the game gets hard. Parents are part of this conversation as well. After our initial session we can talk about plans moving forward.
I Come Watch
I see the athlete at a game or a practice. That shows me what's really happening in the moments that matter. If we are not in the same area there are others ways I can understand more (ex. watching film, talking to head coach, etc).
Training the Mental Side
Weekly or biweekly sessions, in person or online. We build skills like focus, confidence, and a next play mindset, and we practice them the way you'd practice a jump shot.
A Plan in Writing
After every session you get a written plan. The athlete knows what to work on, and parents know what we're building.

Fifteen Minutes Will Tell You if It's Worth Doing
Tell me what's going on. I'll tell you honestly whether I can help, what it would look like, and what it costs. If it's not a fit, I'll point you somewhere better.
